These seem to do well when they’re on sale new, might be some interest in them at a refurb price (from an established reseller).
I was looking for a 10 or 8″ tablet primarily to run the bell fibe app on a desktop and ultimately ended up ordering this with a 1920X1200 screen. At this price the best I’d get new would be an 8″ HD screen with 2GB memory.
I haven’t played with Chrome OS yet and am excited to get a chance to put it through it’s paces. They’ve apparently made setting one of these up as a smart display integral to the OS.
I didn’t enter the “savings” as their original pricing is completely out to lunch, but new retail sale pricing seems to be somewhere north of $200. Shipping sours the deal a bit, but I still came in @ $170 all-in delivered to NB which represents $60+ savings over best retail after tax.
