For Fido, you can try asking your local rep to add the $5 additional line discount. It stacks but they are not suppose to do it. Technically you can add it if you call in to customer support if you have a tablet plan.
Previous deals, I called customer support and told them to make my tablet 4gb plan (free) as the primary line. Then activate the special plan and get the $5 Add a Line discount. Some reps will do it and some will not so YMMV
