purchased when it went on sale last month to replace an old futon mattress i have been sleeping on for 10 yrs. after letting it inflate back to normal state, 24hr period. slept on it and realized when they said firm.. it was firm. I am big guy, 300lb. The top was soft but found that i was waking up every 3-4 hrs to change position. then it would be soft again then repeat. I placed a memory foam topper i purchased years ago, to make it a super soft top and firm underneath. After couple weeks, i do noticed the top even softer now, so i might try it without the topper. but overall i am impress at the price point and comfort level. I even bought couple bedstory pillows and even impressed with those.
