I love these pillows. This is my second one from this brand. Obviously, your experience with a pillow is going to be different than mine. What I can tel you is that as someone with a messed up neck and is a side sleeper, for my neck, the pillow provides the right amount of softness and support. The material of the outside of the pillow feels soft and natural. The purple piping is a big bonus! | I purchased pillows in the past that were $80 or even $140 on the hopes that they would be good for me as a side sleeper with a bad neck. Price does not always equal happiness. I’ve had a much better run with this pillow and its a fraction of the cost. | I did not find that there was any odor or off-gassing smell when I took the pillow out of the box. | Look, if you’re on the fence about this pillow, I say go for it and give it a try.
