I will just add a quick update: | After four months or so, I still like the mattress very much. It is comfortable, supports my back well and the right mix of soft and firm for me. Probably for other people more on the firm side. | Still happy with it and will update maybe next year, if I remember… | I ordered the mattress (10” Hybrid) on a Sunday and it was delivered within the 2 days. Unboxing is possible by yourself, but definitely good to have a second person to help. It was my first time ordering a rolled up mattress and it felt a little bit like playing the lottery after reading about other people’s experiences. | Setting up: I rolled out the mattress on my bed. Flipped it over to right side up. Cut the plastic carefully along the sides and while doing so, the mattress already started sucking in air, quickly! About half an hour later I measured and it was 8” high. | Next day it was 9” high and since then it added maybe half an inch max to it. Totally fine with that. I waited the 48 hours before using it. | It feels firm and very comfortable at the same time. I didn’t have to deal with excessive smell like some reported. The usual “new stuff” smell I would say. Very mild. I had the windows open during the 48 hours wait and I did not smell anything when I started sleeping on it. | So far I am very happy and I will report back after a few weeks to update.
