Picked up one of these passes two years ago for $599 CAD, so inflation has struck again.

They only do this “on par” sale once per year, and the regular price is $699 USD.

It is a decent deal if you travel around BC and Alberta and don’t want to stick to a one resort pass.

I have bolded the Canadian resorts below. The pass includes two-days at each resort and each subsequent day is 50% off.

25 resorts total. Six in Western Canada, one in Quebec. The rest are in the US and beyond. But other than Montana it’s probably a bit of a stretch for Canadians unless you planned a road trip through Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.

It would take about 5 ski days to pay for the pass then anything beyond that you are saving money.

Last time I got the pass I did my two days at these resorts: Sunshine ($156/day), Louise ($129/day), Panorama ($149/day), and Revelstoke ($159/day). Just going off regular ticket prices today 8 days at those resorts would cost you over $1100. There are Costco passes and individual resort cards to save money, but I feel the Mountain Collective has added value with unlimited additional days at 50% off as well.

There is a little opportunity for sharing days, but typically the pass is linked to you and your name. Depending on the resort Sunshine gives you an actual card with your picture on it. But others like Panorama and Revy you just had to show up in person with your ID and receipt and they give you two lift tickets that can be used by anyone. I can’t remember what Louise did off the top of my head.
