Got an email from Serif (I use Affinity Photo) that all their software and other items are 30% off for Black Friday. The run promos a few times a year. Great products. All point updates are free. Designer, Photo and Publisher each offer great, one time purchase value. Overall, reviews are strong. Win/Mac products are each $47.99. iPad apps are $19.99.

I used PS and PS Elements for years but gave them up, and the subscription model, after trying Photo. The only wish, and apparently is may be coming, is a digital management tool. Got to love the non destructive edits in Photo.
