If you’re looking to get into a mechanical keyboard, this is a great starting point. | Back light instructions: | If you just want to see how the backlight looks, watch the video I’ve posted. | – FN + arrow keys = change of color | – FN + INS = all board slowly changes colours uniformally | – FN + PGUP = lights make waves in W M motion | – Press FN + PGUP and FN + End or FN + Del for more effects | * see video – sorry it’s tilted! | Now on to WHY I like this keyboard: | – it’s cheap! Like 7 fancy drinks from Starbucks cheap. | – The switches are great! It’s a mechanical keyboard in a true sense: great tactile feedback and great press. very loud (great of you want to annoy a coworker at work, just saying), but not so loud that you’d think it’s louder than a standard mechanical keyboard. | – The switches feel sturdy. They don’t feel cheap at all. | – The back lighting is just the right intensity. Each press is satisfying – I love leaving it keyboard backlight on when my monitor is off, it’s that good! | – I do like how you can adjust the brightness of the light or you can just turn them off. | Things to consider: | – It may annoy your significant other | – The LEDs will not stay at your setting once you turn your computer on. You will need to adjust it every time.
