IMO, I think this deal is better than the Costco GoPro Hero 8 deal since you can purchase discounted accessories through the GoPro PLUS program and pick and choose what you like, as opposed to receiving a set bundle.
Additionally, YouTube reviews have a general consensus that the value proposition is not strong enough to warrant an upgrade from the 7 to the 8.
