Reason #1 not to buy a brand new GoPro just after release: the price is gonna come down at least a little bit in a month or two, and it already has. They’ve been advertising US$50 off on their social media platforms on their website but working the exchange rate right now into it, you’re a little better off with the CA$70 here (and that’s before duties/taxes and whatever markup your card does for forex); but FWIW I had a look at B&H and Adorama down south and they have the same discount.
