Make sure you buy the correct battery pack for your car. My battery was completely dead. I had a trickle charge on the battery but since the battery was so old, it just stopped working. Because my car was in the garage and I pulled straight in, my jumper cables weren’t long enough to jump start the car. I went to Costco and purchased one of the battery packs they sold. Apparently, when your battery is really really dead, those smaller battery packs don’t work. I ordered the larger Gooloo battery pack on Amazon, hooked it up and the car started right up. I love this thing. It comes in a nice case. I am definitely going to keep this in my car in addition to the jumper cables. This wasn’t the first time, because of the angle I parked the car, that my jumper cables weren’t long enough. You can also use this to charge your Iphone or any device that uses a USB connector. One thing to remember, while it is pretty simple to use, make sure you full charge the unit before using it or storing it in your car.
