I think everyone has used the classic Bic crystal pens at one point or another and they were great. However I like to write with a wider line than the usual 1.0 mm classic Bic pen and was buying quite expensive 1.6 mm gel pens instead. I then read a blog by Seattle Sketcher, Gabriel Campanario who was using a Bic Crystal Bold (1.6 mm) pen. I tried it out and loved it. All the advantages of the inexpensive but wonderful classic Bic pen in a bold stroke. Because they put out quite a bit of ink they don’t last tremendously long but a fine trade off for a smooth, fun and inexpensive pen for writing or sketching. Recommended.
