Missed out on the 2 bike platform rack from princess auto, and came across this 3 bike platform rack made by bell.

The bell upright 250 ( holds 2 bikes) lists on Amazon for $269.88 but the bell upright 350 (holds 3 bikes) is only $202.79.

It’s doesn’t say it’s on sale but it looks like a good price.

Currently not in stock but you can do a pre-order.

Customer Reviews:
Absolutely love this unit. Might not be the best carrier for 3 HEAVY bikes, but that’s not my problem. The first couple of times putting bikes on or off does take some time. You have to figure out which bike to put where, and where to position the centre posts & wheel supports. However after that is mastered, getting the bikes back on or off is very quick and easy. I was very pleased with how fast I could load 3 bikes and be ready to go compared to others. Also was still able to access my trunk with all bikes in place… bonus! Once all bike were strapped in place, I also couldn’t believe how close and tight the carrier holds everything without a single spot of contact between bikes… unbelievably good use of every millimetre. I use the smaller hitch option, which at first seemed a bit looser than I would have preferred… can’t speak for the larger adapter that comes with the unit since I couldn’t try that. However after making an “L” shaped shim out of some sheet metal I had laying around, that totally solved the shake, (or slack) once it was mounted in the hitch. Now all installed, it looks and feels like a carrier that you would easily pay 3 times the price for in a LBS. The only con I can see, as others have mentioned, the paint does seem to scratch easily. The pedals are really the only thing that can come into contact with parts of this carrier. So if you have any type of GOOD pedal, with skid pins, or that bights well on a shoe, then expect those pedals to also bight through the paint on the frame of this carrier if the two ever touch each other. Will probably go and have the centre section of this carrier LINE-X coated at some point for further protection of those scratches. Have put over 200 Km’s on my rack so far with zero problems. LOVE IT!!! | PROS: Price, Bike fit range & compatibility, value. | CONS: Would not hold a fat bike or any tire over 2.8 (unless maybe you deflated the tire partially). Paint.
