Apeman LC550 true 720p projector. Works out to 129.99 with the coupon – No tax. (Third party seller).

Good price for a decent home theater projector. Its a true 720p and supports 1080. The listed brightness is not true ANSI lumens, but is decent enough for home theater use or a evening with popcorn. May not be ideal for presentations due to slight blur in corners in most of these cheaper models. The manufacturer claims a 200″, though it wont be really usable at that size. Most home theater screens are around 100″, so the brightness is good enough for that size. Good enough reviews.

Overall if someone is looking for home theater or occasional use, the price point is good.

Customer Reviews:
This mini projector is a good to have for home movies as a replacement of TV. The kids are obviously enjoying it when I project their favorite shows in the wall in their small room during the night. The quality of the projector is good for shows, but not recommended for PowerPoint or even to use as a monitor for spreadsheets or documents use. Still a great price since the sound is loud and can be heard clearly during backyard movie screening for a small crowd of 10 people. The picture is good quality too and is clear enough to enjoy a good movie. | It comes with a remote control powered by 2 AAA batteries, which is handy for screening control, but the gadget has the buttons too in the equipment itself so I don’t need to worry if I lost the remote control. | The connection selection is pretty simple, the menu screen clearly shows the menu, and I can easily choose between HDMI(2 ports), AV, VGA and media. Since I connected to my laptop, I used HDMI1 which connected fast. I also tried the USB and microSD ports, and I’m glad it reads the USB and SD fast. To view the pictures and videos, I can choose a slideshow mode, so this is pretty useful to show a slideshow of pictures for my movie guests during the wait time. | The projector comes with its own HDMI cable and AV cable, so I didn’t need to buy a separate cable to connect to my laptop and DVD player.
