Seems like a good deal for anyone who’s in the market for a full-frame camera right now (and missed the Z5 deal a while back).
This is the original “mark i” version, most of the reviews on the internet are based on the original firmware but the camera has improved a lot since then. To summarize:
Pros:
– Amazing BSI sensor;
– Great IBIS;
– 3.69M dot EVF;
– Access to one of the largest lens ecosystems with the free FTZ adapter;
– Ability to adapt other lens mounts (canon, sony, etc.);
– Good ergonomics;
– Good rear LCD panel;
Cons:
– Single card slot;
– No USB charging (you could still get a separate usb charger);
– Autofocus not as good as newer cameras;
– No fully articulating screen
The 24-70 f/4 S kit is $2599 with FTZ, not a bad deal either.
