Sunbeam vs Hamilton Beach 2lbs Bread Maker. Last year I was in between the Hamilton Beach and the Sunbeam/Oster. Having tried both which happened to be at the same price at the time, I have decided to return the Hamilton and keep the Sunbeam for the following reasons :
– both make very good bread
– the Hamilton Beach is less stable so, vibrates a little bit more
– with the Hamilton Beach, you have to confirm each of your selection by pushing the button after dialing your choice
– the wattage on Sunbeam machine which is 650 watts, makes it takes a little bit less time and the crust looks nicer than Hamilton Beach which is only 450 watts
– the Sunbeam comes with 2 kneading blades.
After almost a full year of use, i’m still very happy with my decision, making 2 loafes of 1.5 lb a week and the machine keeps on going strong.
