The RK Royal Kludge RK84 in white, one of my favorite mechanical keyboards, is on sale at Amazon.ca for $93.49 or 9% off. It’s been hard to find this for less than $120 for quite a while so this is actually a better sale than it looks.
The 3 way wired or wireless RK Royal Kludge RK84 with a long lasting (200 Hrs) 3750 mAh battery is a just-right sized 80% mechanical keyboard that comes in white (or black, but black is currently not on sale). You can choose either Red, Blue or Brown switches depending on your preference (Red for a fast gaming linear feel and Blue or Brown for a more tactile, click-y typers feel with that familiar mechanical “bump”, Brown being quieter). This RK84 has per-key RGB, with built in pre-sets or fully programmable (including macros, etc), and is very responsive when it is plugged in via USB-C as well as using 2.4GHz WiFi with it’s included dongle. You can also run this via Bluetooth on any compatible device (remembers up to 3), including Windows, Mac, Android, etc. The RK84 also has a built-in 2 port USB 2.0 hub and the frame can be removed as you wish for a more exposed RGB look.
This is an excellent keyboard in its own right but can also be a great project board as it has a hot-swappable PCB that allows you to replace 3 pins/5 pins switches as you desire.
