This is a good price for an excellent lens with decent autofocus. Maxes out at 15fps with continuous autofocus with the A9/A1. I love that this focal length and aperture presents some unique subject seperation opportunities. It’s more challenging, in my experience, than using a 1.4/50, 1.4/85 or 1.4/105. But when the subject is close and the background is far, the picture is really unique. Sample from Julia Trotti below.

Not as fast and accurate as the G Master from Sony. But that lens costs $2599 and is constantly out of stock.

I do recommend checking the sharpness. The quality control is all over the place with Samyang/Rokinon. Assume there will be no warranty and that getting parts to fix it will be difficult.
