Came across this deal on my Fido account for a device upgrade to a Motorola Edge 2022. Pulled the trigger today Didn’t affect my current plan (35 GB for $50 month). Device basically free…you just need to pay the tax on the device which is something like $5 per month x 24 months. Basically works out to $120 over the next 2 years for a device that retails for CDN $1k!!!
I’m partial to Motorola phones to begin with but this one has some pretty impressive specs..
– 144 Hz refresh rate
– OLED panel
– 8 GB RAM
– 256 GB internal memory (non expandable)
– Android 12 out of box with promise of 13
– Mediatek processor (might be it’s one main shortcoming but reviews for it look pretty decent
– Great gaming device
– Build quality is mostly plastic so perhaps another knock relative to other flagships
