With the new M2 refreshed Mac book Pro 14 and 16” models released today, Apple has discounted previous Gen refurb models (with M1) significantly. The 14” MBP with 16GB with 512 GB of storage is $1929.00. The 1TB is $2109.
The new M2 models start at $2599 (or 2399 with education discount). That’s $100 more than last year. The only difference with the new models, besides the new M2 chip is the HDMI 2.1, wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3
Everything else is pretty much the same as the M1, so for a ~$500 difference, you still get a very capable MacBook.
Refurbs are like new with 1 year warranty. Just remember that most credit cards don’t double/triple the warranty on refurbs.
