Was at my local Rona+ (Newmarket) yesterday and found these deals. We have been looking for a stackable Washer and Dryer for a while and this is the cheapest we’ve found. Consumer Reports lists both these washers as being very reliable. The price is the same for both the washer and dryer.
Combo (Washer + Dryer):
3400 Series – $1520
3600 Series – $1790
As far as I can tell, the difference between the two is that the 3600 has the steam cycle and it has WiFi capability (you can get notifications when the cycle is done and switch it on using the app). The 3600 also has some kind of AI technology to make drying more efficient.
IMO the 3600 is not worth the extra $270. I don’t want my washer and dryer to be connected to WiFi or have extra electrical components that might break it down faster.
I asked the rep and they said the deal will end on 3rd April. The Stacking kit will cost an extra $60 apparently.
