Been following this laptop since it released about 9 months ago. This laptop isn’t for most people. If you are looking for this then you already have your reasons. Afaik this is ATL. Previous low was $1398 w/ student discount+10% rakuten in January. Has 1 sodimm, supports up to 32gb afaik.

If you have student discount it brings the price down by another $100, my total was $1294 before ON tax & rakuten (screenshot attached).
Now, in before rx 6600s sucks, only 4gb, there are better deals, this is a bad price, etc, suggest an alternative with similar quality/weight/performance/price,
Afaik there aren’t any, I have been searching for 9 months, I almost bought a Mechrevo Code 02 but logistics is difficult, carriers aren’t willing to ship laptops to Canada from China atm.
This generation of Legion also has the upgraded Vantage software for RGB lighting control, no more corsair battery draining bs. Very few problems reported as per Legion Discord.
The closest “deal” was the for $1250+tax from last month; however, 16gb soldered ram & 14 inch screen is no good to me. Although I did almost pull the trigger on it, glad I didn’t.

The Gigabyte A5 is selling fast, there was a lot of stock this morning & now it’s almost sold out. So if you want one go quick.

My last laptop was a MSI Stealth GS66 rtx 3060, throttled too much CPU performance was lacking so I had to let it go. I currently use a Legion 5 Pro Gen 6 rtx 3060 at work. If you guys have questions fire away I will try to answer. I also had the Asus Vivobook 14x OLED for a month in Nov. before I returned it.
