If you are looking for a conventional electrically operated hot water heater this is the best price I have seen in the last year. Our insurance company wanted us to replace our 12 year old tank to continue insurance coverage against leakage. They were reasonable and gave us a year to do so.
I began watching for sales about a year ago. The non sale prices were $650 – $699 with Canadian Tire occasionally selling at $599. This is the first time I have seen the price this low. Perhaps others can get better deals, but I have no connections in the plumbing business.
Anyway this is a basic tank. 3000 watts @ 240 volts AC with top and bottom elements and a six year warranty. I have seen these under the name of GSW, Moffat as well as others. I think they are all made in the USA at the same factory. Sale price is good until Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023.
