The $14.99 price was in-store in Richmond BC, but not a special deal, appears to be the regular in-store price – less than half the price of Costco.ca. May be in other stores as well. Good deal if you want to replace old fluorescent tubes with more reliable/lower energy cost LED. I haven’t seen them that cheap anywhere else.
This is the narrower T8 tube, also fits T12 fixtures (traditional 2″ wide fluorescent tubes), works with both electronic and magnetic ballast fixtures as a direct plug-in replacement. 1750 lumens, so pretty bright, but 4K cool white color temperature.
One concern: Feit is the only brand of LED bulb I have ever had fail on me. Hope it was an anomaly.
