Update: Thanks for all of your advice! Here’s a summary of why this is a deal for me (using the wisdom of the crowd):
– No need for 5G from the iPhone 12 family as my 3G plan works just fine (@iMarketing)
– The new iPhone 12 mini costs $280 more and doesn’t even include a charger
– Apple Store US has it for $639 USD refurb units, so Costco’s price is not bad (@CheapBucket)
– It is going to deliver great performance even now for all your needs minus the latest camera tech (only matters if you truly are going to become a photographer overnight and need DSLR quality) (@Samshares)
– No risk compared to Kijiji / eBay (@Richard1986)
Is it a “HOT” price? I wouldn’t say so, but there’s probably little chance that a BNIB XS will become cheaper in the next three months from Costco considering its .97 price tag.
