Was looking to purchase an exercise bike with a screen but couldn’t get myself to shell out the $2500+ for the Peleton or Echelon EX5S. Came across this Bowflex C7 at Canadian Tire. The bike is not advertised on the Bowflex website which is strange. I researched it and it appears to be an update on the well-reviewed C6 bike with a 7″ screen. I also like the Bowflex software better as it doesn’t lock you into a subscription based service to get a lot of the functionality. If you did want to subscribe, you can also choose to watch Netflix, Prime, etc. on the screen.
I purchased it today and since it’s Triangle Bonus Days (30X rewards points) – I received another ~$180 back in Canadian Tire money.
Still quite a bit of money for a piece of equipment, but it’s a big discount from Peleton/Echelon for anyone looking for a bike with a screen.
