I no longer allow myself to buy expensive bluetooth earbuds as I keep losing them, so I’ve been on the hunt for a decent inexpensive pair. There are some *really* *really* bad headphones on amazon (I’ve tried 5-6 of them), and lots of fake reviews, but these have been outstanding for the price. Usually they’re around $20-$30 but now down to $15 (with coupon)

Pros:
– can work as a pair, and independently
– magnetic charging case
– physical buttons! none of that damn annoying “touch/swipe” stuff that doesn’t work through gloves or wet/dry skin
– none of the usual issues you usually get with cheap headphones: lag, poor range, poor battery, poor interface

Cons:
– microphone isn’t great (picks up too much stuff around you, so not great outdoors)
– just 1 physical button on each earbud, so you “single tap” to play/pause, “double tap” to rewind, “triple tap” to fast forward etc, functionality changes depending on whether you have 1 earbud connected or both
– no physical button for volume adjustment (have to use your phone’s volume buttons)

protip for podcast listeners: these headphones work well with AntennaPod to “tripple tap” to skip commercials in podcasts (fast forward by 30 seconds)
