This is a barebone PC and the motherboard size is smaller than an itx board. With 5% GST in Alberta it comes to about 248 all in, and if the 30 rebate will be issued then the cost is about 220.
I saw this price right before Black Friday but did not act on it, now it’s back again and the mail-in rebate promo is ending on December 15th.
This is probably not for everyone. You still need a CPU, laptop SODIMM, and nvme drive to make it work, it just happens that I have a ryzen 5600g, nvme SSD, and RAM from upgrades of desktop and laptop already. My laptop is being used like a desktop in the office anyway so perhaps this can replace my laptop. I know people don’t like the mail-in rebate, but for someone who was on the fence about buying like me, it makes sense.
