Let’s be honest, anytime you look at home security…it’s expensive! Wyze has made DIY home security a breeze for a fraction of the cost. I now have three Wyze Cams (2x V2 and one Pan) and I love them! The video quality for a sub-$50 camera is superb. The motion detection is on point and you can play with the detection settings so it only picks up what you really want to pick up. The wide angle lens allows you to see everything, and the night vision lights up my yard to my back fence over 40′ away. These cameras are riddled with features such as two-way audio, in-camera MicroUSB storage and free 14-day motion clip cloud storage. They can be mounted pretty much anywhere, and even though these are not “outdoor rated” my first V2 is going on over 2 years outside in the harsh Alberta weather (under the eaves) and still working like day one. Micro USB powered, and the ability to daisy-chain they are pretty much the most versatile home security camera you are going to find in this price range!
