Great deal for a GaN Tech USB-C 61W charger. I bought this for $36 in the summer and now its $26 which is great for an extremely small form factor 2″ x 2″ x 1.1″ and foldable plug charger. I use this with my Surface Pro and Samsung Note 10 Plus and will charge most laptops that use 60W rated chargers.

Amazing you can get a new generation charger 61W GaN at this incredible price.

Great things really do come come in small packages. I really can’t impress on you just how small this charger is for the given wattage (61w), but hopefully the pictures gives some idea of scale. This is one of the new breed of GaN chargers (Gallium Nitride), which means it’s smaller / more efficient / runs cooler and more powerful. | It can output 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3A, 20.3V/3A and can handle pretty much anything I throw at it, including my Thinkpad X1 Carbon which it charges just fine or any other device upto the 61watt power rating. | Was very impressed by just how cool this runs at full steam (by charger levels), yes it’s warm but not fry an egg warm. The power light is a dim blue to let you know it’s on and turns bright blue when charging. All round it’s a pretty amazing and minimalistic charger. Functionally it also seems to run stable under load and has load protection that cuts in when it exceeds its power. | Positives | – So so small, easy to throw in a bag. Very handy for travel | – Powerful for given size | – Usb-c / PD output | – More power efficient. Runs much cooler that other models | Negatives | – Biggest con in my book is the fact that it does not come with a USB-C cable in the box | – There is not much else to dislike about this, only improvement would be interchangeable plug heads for travel. | In conclusion, whether you need an additional charger for another room, for travel or just want to replace your original you really can’t go wrong with this, it’s what all OEM laptop chargers should aim to be! I will definitely be purchasing more for around the house. It’s in my top 10 buys. | I hope you found my review informative and helpful.
