One tire on my car had a slow leak. I ordered the Slime Tire plug Kit. When it arrived, I took off the wheel and removed from the tire, what turned out to be a screw, and used the kit to plug the leak. The only difficulty I had was getting the rasp type tool to penetrate the tire. This was not the fault of the kit. After pushing and pushing and pushing, ( whew ) I finally could feel the tool being forced through and past the steel belts in the tire. Then it was relatively easy to push and pull and push and pull that tool back and forth a few times to roughen up the puncture hole. I then put a plug in the other tool, applied a bit of glue and plugged the hole and trimmed off the ends of the plug. That was maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago and the tire has not leaked a bit since. The kit saved me the time and expense of taking the car to the local tire repair shop ( or continuing to use a bicycle pump to put air in that one tire every few days ) and have enough plugs and glue for a few more repairs on other tires if need be. I was very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it to others who wish to avoid a trip to the tire shop. Am very happy!
