I currently own 2 T5 SSD’s and use them to transfer large video files and carry them on the go. As some of these files are sensitive I had to encrypt them but it was a hassle to type the password every single time I plugged them in. Every computer I plugged them into also needed the Samsung ssd software installed to decrypt. This new T7 is amazing for me as I no longer have to type my password in all the time. I can also plug the drive into any computer without needing the software to decrypt. If you need to encrypt your drives then this is the way to go. The speed improvement is also noticeable, almost double the read and write.
