If anyone is looking for a decent quality cheap mechanical keyboard, here’s one on sale I just noticed.

I am currently typing on the black version with Red keys for the last few months and it’s been a pleasure. comes with blue, red, or brown like switches. not sure what the actual switches are though. this is my first proper mechanical keyboard so not the most experienced. Red keys (linear, no feedback) took some getting used to (pick brown or blue keys for more tactile feedback). Picked it up on the last sale for $45. Now it’s $41 with coupon and no tax either. ($59.99-$19)

It’s surprisingly weighty and stiff case. check previous threads for more impressions. The 61% version is also on sale for the same price. This one has jsut white backlit keycaps, pbt, plenty of backlight animations though I just leave it on. battery life is only ~1 week’s worth so I leave it plugged in the majority of the time via USB-C wired. 5 BT profiles, windows key lock, media shortcuts.

Customer Reviews:
I’d been using a Logitech g15 V2 since it came out in 2007. Great keyboard, but it was starting to show it’s age. I decided that I wanted to try a mechanical board but the pricing of some of the ‘larger brands’ did bother me. Especially since I had never used one before. I had 2 requirements. It had to be TKL and Bluetooth or wireless. There weren’t that many options. I stumbled on this board – there was a 15$ coupon. After the coupon, the board cost 53$ and it was well worth it. I have nothing bad to say, everything works wonderfully. The backlighting is perfect, the weight is great and the board feels sturdy. It can be a little loud at times, but even with the blue switches when I’m on video calls, people can’t hear the keyboard. I’d buy another.
