I bought a few of these as my first venture into the smart home arena. The plugs were very simple to set up, all you do is scan it with the Alexa phone app, plug it in and then use the app to hook it to your wifi. After that you just say Alexa turn on/off “plug name” and you are good to go | The plug can be renamed to whatever you want as a command word like “living room lights” but defaults to plug 1, plug 2 etc | my 1 complaint is that the plug is a bit bulky and takes up 2 or 3 slots if you happen to need to use it on a power bar. The plus side to this is that you can attach a power bar to it instead and turn 1 plug into many plugs that all turn on and off with a single command
