Sold by the millions over the decades this watch was originally designed for sale in areas of the world where no watch batteries were available for quartz watches or watch makers to service mechanical watches, they run for years with no attention, it costs more to service these movements than replace the watch. I have several, some are well over a decade old yet start to run when picked up and given a shake. Fairly accurate yet can be regulated by the do it your selfer with a case back opener and a toothpick if you feel the need to do so after several weeks of use. A great watch for day to day wear that costs around $100 or less.
