I needed some MicroSD cards for a security camera system and these fit the bill. While I was tempted by ‘HEAVY DUTY SECURITY’ cards (offering longer rewrite cycles?) these cards were 1/3rd the price and Samsung is a name I trust. | They come in a wasteful cardboard card with plastic insert which is unecessary waste for a non-retail product. They also include a MicroSD to SD adapter which I threw in a drawer with the hundred other adapters I have accumulated. | They’ve been working fine in the cameras outdoors in the worst of Ottawa’s winter (everything from rain to snow to -30C temps) for over a month now with no issues so far. Even if one burns out and I have to replace it I’m still ahead, and the price on these will have fallen even further if the need arises.
