This camera supports rtsp, so there is no need to pay for the cloud access. You only need the app for setup, after that i just deleted the app and firewalled it so all of the traffic stay within my network. To view it i just use whatever video player i have (mx player on the phone, mpc-hc on Windows, omx player on pie).

Compare with Wyze Cam Pan 1080p Pan as well.
– picture on the HeimVision is a bit better (in lit rooms)
– Heimvision switchs to IR (BW) with less light than the Wyze.
– Heimvision seems to have the better picture here as well (will need to test this more)
– App connects faster on the HeimVision
– Heimvision “zoom” is better
– Heimvision app (PixPlus) has a separate control for pan/tilt instead of the Wyze method of just dragging the picture
– hopefully they will update the app to include this
