Fits my Aprilaire 700 perfectly. Comes with instructions as well so you don’t have to go looking for your Aprilaire manual, and on my model no tools were required. | Installation is fairly straight forward. If you have an Aprilaire 700, just have to push the tabs on the top and bottom of the cover to remove it. Make sure the vent is turned to Summer position so it closes the airflow or the valve inside will hold the insert when you try to remove it. Holding the top left and top right of the insert, pull out and undue the 2 clips holding the water feed tube. You should now be able to lift out the insert with the old filter, turn it upside down and it should slide out. Clean/wash the bottom if need be, slide in the new insert, and put everything back together in reverse order. If its your first time might take 5-10 min, my second time around took 2 min, maybe even less.
