Like others, I wasn’t looking to buy 35 pounds of popcorn for many reasons, but it turned out to be a good purchase. The raw kernels are noticeably bigger and definitely pop up larger than average, have good flavour, and are tender and crispy. The number of unpopped kernels are few and far between, but leave lots of husks behind, I’m guessing due to the extra-large size. Instructions say to keep the bag well sealed to maintain the moisture content in the kernels for optimum popping (for 10 years?!!). You just can’t put the bag on a shelf or it will collapse.
