Took a chance and walked over to my neighbourhood SDM early this morning for this weekend flyer deal (Saturday/Sunday only). It was a good thing!
Shelves were full of BOTH 1L Chocolate and Strawberry milk. The best part was the best before (bb) date: September 25 for the Strawberry and October 11 for the Chocolate. Add it up: $4 for the equivalent of a premium milk bag AND flavoured AND premium bb date.
There is a limit of four cartons, according to the flyer. However, there were so many available the cashier allowed me an extra four.
Just a warning: The milk can be really sweet, so for those who prefer less sugar there is a 25% less sugar version of the chocolate milk. Sometimes I like a mocha iced coffee/frappe, while the kids go nuts for the strawberry.
